Using a baby doll or a teddy bear can be a very effective way for a person with Alzheimer's or any kind of dementia to decrease stress and agitation. A caregiver can use doll therapy for dementia patients as a way to put responsibility, caring, and structure back into the lives of those afflicted with Alzheimer's.
The MaryBelle Baby Doll Project was established to honor Amanda DeGusipe's late grandma, MaryBelle Smith, who found comfort in holding a baby doll.
The MaryBelle Baby Doll Project partners with various organizations and facilities in and around the community to collect new baby dolls, teddy bears, and figit aprons/blankets to bring smiles to local dementia patients. Please consider donating to a wonderful cause. Together, we are making a great difference in our community!

I am a past client of this provider My wife was cared for at home before she passed. We had help from Next Evolution Health Care. They were great, and I would recommend them. They were very helpful and considerate. They send somebody here whenever I requested it and they worked with me. We were with them for about 3 or 4 weeks. They provided care services, like help with bathing, eating and companionship. They were here several days a week for five hours a day. There were a couple of different caregivers who worked with my wife, and they all seemed very competent and helpful. We haven't concluded the billing yet, but I don't foresee any problem based on our discussions. They've met with me before to set everything up and I think they were very clear about their procedures. I have a binder that they provided me with regards to what they were doing, when they are doing them, and how often. I thought they were very clear and organized. As far as I am concerned, they completed everything, and they were competent.

Knowledgeable, Friendly, and Worked with Us We used Next Evolution very short-term because my loved one didn't want the help. But I thought they were very helpful and provided good service and availability. I liked that they weren't pushy at all when we cancelled after just a couple of weeks. The caregiver they sent did spend time on her phone, but that was because my loved one wasn't allowing her to do things. The one thing we did ask for was help with cooking, which she didn't know how to do, but she did try. We would use them again if we needed care for a loved one.

We need more consistency I would tell others the issues we have is with the stability of the caregivers. They kept changing on us. We would get ones that we like and were really good and worked well with my mother in law, but they wanted more hours so they wanted to change. I think our experience would be better if there was more consistency.
